Site Survey

The service we provide is a detailed assessment of a property to determine the feasibility and optimal design for a solar PV panel installation.

This includes the locations for electrical distribution, data communication, batteries and inverters. The survey provides the data needed for the next step: to design a bespoke system with accurate cost calculations.

Available area

Evaluating the roof or ground space for available area. Assessing the available roof or ground space to determine how many panels can be installed, incl. drone survey using a high-resolution camera.

2

Sunlight and shading

Analysing factors like sunlight exposure and shading. Measuring factors like the amount of direct sunlight, the angle of the sun, and identifying any potential shading from trees or buildings that could reduce energy production.

3

Structural integrity

Checking the structural integrity. Inspecting the roof and/or ground to ensure it can support the weight of the solar PV panels and related equipment.

4

Electrical system

Electrical system review. Evaluating the property's electrical system and other components to ensure they can handle the new solar PV system.

5

Cost analysis

Considering local regulations, grant schemes and requirements to ensure the installation is safe, efficient and a cost-effective system.
